Wealth Operations specialises in supporting the key strategic growth and revenue drive of SSNC Global Investor and Distribution Services (GIDS). Materially different to traditional Funds TA, each service model reflects the changing needs and demands of our wealth clients in servicing their distribution partners both direct and 3rd party. Product, Regulatory and Technology focus remain key in differentiating our service strategy from our competitors. Specifically, our Wealth Operations team, onshore and off shore, focus on every element of service delivery for the client, their partners and customers, maintaining (and excelling) on daily/weekly/monthly key SLA’s which include both quantitative and qualitative measures.  The division focuses at all times on the relevant regulatory aspects in its service maintaining the highest standard of control.

Position Overview

This new role has been incorporated to support the enhanced business service and structure, with a specific focus on the following critical elements namely:

  • All elements of trading, both funds and cam, relating to placement of trades, utilising the critical systems ( ie advent) and focussing on all contingent parts including Foreign exchange etc.
  • Consequently the role will drive and support the client with all aspects of trade support including deal amends, exceptions, errors and breaches.
  • Additionally the role will be accountable for the performance and pricing aspects of the service to brooks, ensuring at all times, the correct and relevant data is used/managed and assessed.
  • The aspects to this role require engagement with the client oversight and trading teams.
  • Management of the team and ensuring all aspects of employee performance and career lifecycles are undertaken
  • Continually working with the client and our Technology partners to develop different and automated ways of working.

Working as part of the overall wealth operations senior management team, the role is critical in addressing the primary needs of the wealth industry.
Strong communication skills are essential, ability to develop relationships with the client, technology representatives, other operational teams and 3rd party providers. Focused on service delivery, process improvements and risk mitigation. 
Daily governance and control of all aspects of the service delivery.
Overseeing the development, testing and implementation of technical solutions. Documenting processes and disseminating information to all relevant stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and understanding of industry products, characteristics and application of Wealth solutions. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, document findings and suggest solutions. 
Subject matter expert in operational processes, act as the ‘go to’ person for business and client issues. Track record of operating in a highly demanding, focused, operational area. Works collaboratively as part of team and ability to utilise strengths of others to accomplish objectives. 
Ability to define procedures and standards and document accordingly.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, at all levels. 
Flexibility and adaptability combined with a positive “can do” attitude are critical for this role.
