Distributional Client Services ADS Lead Associate

Role Responsibility

Role Description

DCS offer a bespoke service to Distributors, Corporate clients & Nominees as a single point of contact. Where we offer an improved target turnaround for all enquiries, we provide value add services, increased focus on Relationship Management, STP throughput & electronic settlement, provide equal focus on providing an enhanced retail experience. The ADS role supports this by having a support team available for the electronic transfer of assets, shareclass conversions & supporting EMX, Calastone, SWIFT, Crest and CTN Net Settlement. 

Role Responsibilities

•    Ensure SS&C meets their Clients’ expectations, in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
•    Complete all control functions and daily monitoring has been completed for all STP order routing
•    Complete all control functions and daily reconciliation has been completed for all STP settlement functions and Electronic re-registration and shareclass conversions
•    Complete updates to the STP systems following all corporate action events
•    Work with the Manager to drive forward the client services culture of ‘VALUED’ and be the voice of the customer initiative called ‘Putting the client at the heart of…’
•    Responsible for timely completion of all dealing controls inclusive of dilution levies
•    Demonstrate a high level of understanding of all monitored systems and how they link into other departments inclusive of issue resolution where impacts to other departments occur.
•    Escalation point for the nominees, where service has not met their expectations.  Investigation, resolution management and continuous communication to be delivered at all times
•    Communicate scheduling and plans with the teams and actively contribute to team and departmental meetings
•    Be a role model by adhering to all SS&C policies and procedures 
•    To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed. 
•    To provide accurate and timely information to internal and external parties (including clients).
•    To review procedural, document and system reviews to ensure all data provided is up to date.
•    To exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the role is responsible for are organised and controlled.
•    To comply with the regulatory regimes in which SS&C operates, with consideration given to relevant Client Asset, Data Protection and Financial Crime Prevention regulations, as appropriate to the above role.
•    To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
•    To be quality driven, aiming for 100% accuracy and timeliness of delivery. 
•    To review processes and practices within your role to propose change and improvement where individual and team performance are being affected. 
•    To observe the standards of market, business and personal conduct and demonstrate integrity in your execution of duties.

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge and Technical Skills

•    Desirable knowledge/understanding/experience of working in Financial Services.
•    Good use of the Microsoft applications.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ability to build relationships with all levels in the business.
•    Ability to identify areas of risk or concern, either within team or in the business.
•    Responds positively to all internal/external customers.
•    Flexible and adaptable to change and challenges.
