Team Leader, Cash Management
To Lead the CM CASS Audit & Compliance Team in daily duties including; monitoring and managing the inward Audit Requests, logging these and delegating to the team accordingly.
Speaking with Technical & Regulatory Control, Auditors and Management Companies in regards to Sample Requests, managing deadlines, expectations and SLA’s.
Assisting the India Cash Team with any Audit and Sampling requests and questions they have.
Working with the CM CASS Audit & Compliance Quality Coach managing and attending the onsite visits with both the Auditors and Management Companies and confirming Sampling requirements that arise from these meetings.
Working with the CM CASS Oversight Team in understanding the implementation of new CASS processes, for knowledge and future evidencing purposes.
Working closely with the CM CASS Audit & Compliance Quality Coach understanding processes within the Cash Management Group for audit and sampling purposes.
Understanding CASS processes to satisfy the requests of both Auditors and Management Companies within sample requests.
Professional Standards: To adhere to the department’s professional standards and security policy and to ensure you maintain these within your team by floor walking and general observation.
Payment Authorisation: To authorise team’s payments daily and within the set timescales. Ensure that there are no payments outstanding at the end of the day.
Training & Communication: To train new members of staff within the team. Ensure that all training is carried out to staff within you team for new procedures and processes. To hold weekly team meetings to ensure all information from above is communicated.
Holiday: To vet staff holiday requests ensuring that your team will be covered during staff absence.
Investigation and Resolution of Enquiries: to the required standards to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Complete Monthly stats within the set deadlines. Ensure all Breach forms and internal Cash Management forms (Route cause/Breach/System Enhancement etc) are completed in a timely manner.
·Escalation of issues to Line Manager
Ensure that all issues are escalated to your Line Manager by COB the day they arise.
Staffing Responsibilities: Ensure all staff within your team receives a monthly 1 to 1 and this is documented using the template provided. Ensure all staff receives a back to work interview on the 1st day they return after sickness.
Additional Responsibilities complete any other appropriate ad hoc tasks as required/directed by one of the managers.
The Ideal Candidate
IOC or equivalent or commitment to study for IOC
Good keyboard skills to include awareness Word and Excel.
Good Verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
Experience in Financial Services Investment Industry.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
Good accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative when required
Good communication skills
Good organization skills
Knowledge of CASS processes
2 years supervisory experience
Knowledge of PEP, ISA, Unit Trust, OEIC or Investment Trust administration
Knowledge of FCA regulatory environment
