Job Introduction


Service Delivery
To ensure SS&C meets client expectations in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Develop and Improve Communication 
To ensure SS&C operationally meet business requirements
Control and Monitoring
To control and monitor the overall work processes to ensure the highest quality and minimal errors
Reporting
To maintain a controlled reporting system for the specific team in accordance with standard department internal and external reporting criteria
Plan and Organize
To plan and organize the department resources to ensure completion of all the work
Problem Solving and Decision Making
To liaise with internal and external clients problem solutions and make informed clear decisions
•    Attend project meetings and assess impact of project on HMRC Reporting Team and processes
•    Monitor and manage project timelines to achieve successful implementation
•    Provide regular project overviews/briefings to department management team
•    Ensure project documents are saved centrally, recorded, maintained and distributed as necessary
•    Review test output for system fixes and enhancements, investigate and identify defects in a timely manner following any/all system releases
•    Maintain oversight of HMRC Reporting guides and procedures, ensuring all procedure reviews are actioned within the deadlines provided
•    Assist with ongoing knowledge training for all members of the Regulatory Reporting Team [UK and India]
•    Monitor any outstanding Service Now tickets or Opportunity Requests and provide regular updates to the Management Team
•    Liaise with BOS Team to ensure correct priority is allocated to all worktracks (WT) raised and attend weekly WT meetings with the Management Team
•    Assist with the preparations for internal/external audits and attend closing meetings with the Management Team to provide outcome of audit
•    Continually review current processes looking for improvements and development opportunities
•    Assist with the completion and submission of all regulatory returns on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc basis when necessary
•    Assist with maintaining quality oversight of all processes completed by the India Team
•    To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed

•    To uphold responsibilities for risk and business continuity practices as appropriate to the position the role holds within the organisation.
•     To comply with the regulatory regimes in which SS&C operates, with particular consideration given to relevant Client Asset, Data Protection and Financial Crime Prevention regulations, as appropriate to the above role.
•    To have an awareness of the CASS regulations and undertake the completion of all CASS training as defined for your department/role

The Ideal Candidate

IOC merit awards or equivalent, or commitment to study to gain
Effective verbal reasoning, numerical and investigative skills
Knowledge of the following systems: FAST; Figaro; Bluedoor; iFAST; AWD
An understanding of the following internal SS&C processes: Distributions; Deceased; Dealing
Excellent communication, planning, prioritizing and organizational skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
