Senior Technical Associate, Fund Events
This is a fast-paced and challenging role within a busy team that handles fund mergers, closures and conversions.
You’ll be talking to management companies, trustees and internal teams when organising a fund event. You must have an eye for detail and be confident in challenging things that don’t look or feel right. At the same time, you’ll be expected to deliver first class service to our management companies and be their main point of contact throughout the event. Some conversations can be tough so you’ll need to be able to keep calm under pressure and multi-task to resolve any issues that may arise.
Thorough planning is important and you will play a vital role in ensuring there are no conflicting priorities when initially discussing a fund event with a management company. As you get closer to the event date you’ll need to be constantly forward thinking and double checking every detail to ensure no issues materialise.
We are a split-location team so this role can be based in Basildon or Chelmsford (Paragon House) or a combination of the two. This is not your average 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday job. When we’re in the thick of things there will occasionally be late nights and weekend working so flexibility is really important for this role.
