Senior Director, Change Management
Job Introduction
We are looking for a Senior Director of Change Management. You will be accountable for delivering business change across the UK business units for clients, internally driven and funded initiatives as well as regulatory change. Role is required to ensure successful implementation of business change as well as dependent technology change, including applications and infrastructure working with the appropriate business and technology teams. Responsible for delivering profitable revenue for the client funded change projects and keeping all implementation costs and department costs are within budget. The role requires developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships both internally and with clients. Able to operate as executive sponsor and/or lead programme director alongside an appropriate business sponsor on the largest or key programmes of work. |
Accountable for establishing and executing appropriate and efficient change methods and governance across DST Financial Services UK (Programme Governance and PMO).

Build and sustain strong, influential relationships at all levels in the client organisation with a particular focus on a building a trusted partnership relationship with clients’ change functions and teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of leading small, medium and very large programmes of change
- Able to lead and optimise large portfolios of change
- Professional services experience (eg. consultancy, software professional services)
- Strong understanding and awareness of funds/wealth/platform sector and its role in the asset management sub-sector of financial services
- Strong understanding and experience of business and organisational change management
- Strong technology knowledge and awareness, able to influence and win respect of technology leadership team
- Experience of leading a senior team of change managers and provide them coaching and support to be successful
- In-depth understanding and experience of enterprise programme management office approaches, techniques and strategies
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of different delivery approaches (waterfall, agile)
- Able to operate and influence at Board level
Desirable
- Deep understanding of the funds/transfer agency/platforms industry
- Up to date knowledge of regulations relevant to this part of the industry (such as CASS, RDR, MiFID, 4th AML, GDPR)
- Prior experience as development manager or lead
- Worked in a sales environment
- Experience of data migrations/conversion programmes
