Registration Team Leader - AML

Job Introduction

The Registration team are situated within the DST Basildon office near the A127, opposite Pipps Hill. The office has onsite parking and a subsidised canteen.

DST is a leading provider of back office administration within the collective investment market. We service our clients who are leading suppliers of investment products such as ISA's, Unit Trusts, OEIC's and Investment Trusts.

You role will be to lead teams within Registration. This must be done in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Role Responsibility

You will be required to lead a team of 10+ staff, complete performance reviews & actively manage your team through our planning and resource tools. You will be a key player in achieving business standards, motivating your team and completing work in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

You will be responsible for the oversight of Registration functions, which includes any offshore processes:

  • Estate Maintenance
  • Legal Documents
  • Tax Residency
  • Client Maintenance
  • Anti-Money Laundering
  • Agent Maintenance
  • Settlements

Customer service - To ensure the team provides an effective & efficient service function to customers via the telephone, post or any other means of communication or interaction, to greatly enhance our reputation as a truly customer focused Company

Effective organization - Respond positively to the goals of the team and actively add to the success of the Registration Department

Service delivery  - ensuring DST meets client expectation in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Process management to ensure processes and procedures are appropriately controlled, monitored and documented

Staff training & development is regularly documented and reviews of individual performance completed, including staff 1:1 meetings, where

The Ideal Candidate

  • Team Leader or supervisory experience ideally
  • Basic keyboard skills to include awareness of MS Office packages
  • Good Verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
  • Ability to analyse and appraise work, to identify potential areas of concern that could lead to risk
  • Detailed knowledge of ISA, Unit Trust and OEIC administration - Desirable
  • IOC Introduction to securities - Desirable
