RPA Developer - Process Automation Specialist

DST Systems, a leading advisory, technology and operations company within the financial services industry are looking to recruit a developer to work in their Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Team.

Working collaboratively as part of an Agile team to design, develop and deploy RPA automations across the business unit to help drive operational efficiency and quality targets.  Provide technical assistance and support to the business users of deployed automations as required.

The Process Automation Team is responsible for delivering strategic projects to reengineer business processes and drive higher levels of service for clients.  These projects touch on all key parts of the trading lifecycle, from reengineering of dealing processing and settlement to rejection of instruction back to customers and reporting on to Asset Managers.

Over time there is the potential for the automations to integrate with AI, NLP and Chat bot technologies currently being deployed in other areas of the business.

The RPA technologies that we use are UI Path and Blue Prism and ideally you will have experience developing solutions with those technologies – However we will also consider candidates without RPA experience if they can demonstrate strong development experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Ideally experience using RPA software tools e.g. UI Path or BluePrism
  • Experience with coding languages such as C# and / or Java, HTML, CSS, VB .NET, SQL Server, VBA
  • Business process review experience
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops / focus groups
  • Experience of stakeholder management with all levels of staff
  • Excellent planning, organisational and reporting skills
