Client Money Reporting & Control Senior Technical Associate – Technical Team

Job Introduction

An opportunity has arisen in the Client Money Reporting and Control Team (Technical) .


Takes the initiative to execute enterprise strategies through the performance of individual contributions and project teams

Understands the context in which DST does business and applies expertise in professional area(s) to achieve desired outcomes that align with company strategy

Progresses through the professional through increasing depth of professional knowledge, managing project of increasing scope and complexity, and influencing others

About the role:

  • To identify, initiate and implement change as required
  • To participate in the provision of departmental technical support
  • To participate in project work
  • Act as an SME for the department, and provide a reference point for associates
  • Change Management - Administration
  • Change Management - Leading Change
  • Reporting & Management Information (TBC)
  • Configuration Management (includes End User Computing & Standing Data)
  • Testing (system changes)
  • Ad-Hoc BAU Support

Skills & Experience:

  • A good overall grasp of Client Money reconciliation processes
  • A basic understanding of CASS principles and rules (CASS 6. CASS 7, CASS 9)
  • Can identify high level CASS impact to the department, DST, and our clients
  • Organised and methodical approach to planning and the completion of tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proactively looks to expand on existing knowledge
  • Ability to reprioritise effectively or multi-task to achieve workload within required timescales
  • Good knowledge of internal systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft based software (e.g. Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Industry knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Client Money requirements in line with current regulations
  • Able to carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
